Schedule

The Township Committee meets twice monthly at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Complex, 641 Plainsboro Road: a regular meeting on the 2nd Wednesday, and an agenda meeting on the 4th Wednesday. Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings are scheduled separately and are sometimes cancelled when there's nothing to review that month.

January 2, 2026 — Annual Reorganization Meeting

Every January, the Committee sets its own leadership and locks in the year's calendar. From the official minutes:

• Edmund C. Yates re-elected Mayor — his 29th year on the Committee, 2nd as Mayor
• David Bander elected Deputy Mayor
• Full 2026 meeting calendar adopted — regular meetings 2nd Wednesdays, agenda meetings 4th Wednesdays
• Tax delinquency rules set: 10-day grace period per quarter, 8% interest up to $1,500 owed, 18% above that, plus a 6% year-end penalty over $10,000 — matches what's on our Taxes & bills page
• Eamon Blanchard continued as Emergency Management Coordinator through 2027
• Committee liaison assignments and 2026 professional-services contracts (engineer, auditor, attorney, etc.) approved
